I'm not connecting on what "havoc" can be affected by chatbots. :) I think giving access does address the issues, in the sense that it allows people to work on this problem in a locale-aware way.

I am pro open AI innovation on web3/decentralized primitives, though I will try to come up with an argument: "We should regulate AI in order to ensure the playing field of AI applications is level. Nothing worse than giving a small number of corporations lopsided AI power to maximize their profits."

I don't see how this is a "safety" issue. If anything, it is an openness issue where we should be giving access to the models to as many countries/locales/devs as possible.

Atm I use it to connect to Urbit ecosystem people in their natural habitat of Urbit groups. But the number of apps and functionalities is growing rapidly, feels like Ethereum circa 2015.
