After a woeful 20 years, crypto and tokenization is breathing life back into the traditional markets that they were thought to disrupt. This week, @RobinhoodApp launched tokenized stocks. @Bullish, @Gemini, and @FalconXGlobal are reported to be pursuing IPOs based on @circle's IPO success. And numerous crypto -acquiring SPACs and treasury companies have catalyzed excitement across Wall Street. Stablecoin summer has arrived. With a market capitalization of nearly $250 billion, stablecoins are on the verge of breaking out of the niche cryptocurrency markets and into the mainstream. Tomorrow, the Senate is expected to vote on the GENIUS Act, paving the way for stablecoin legislation. Just like gold rushes of the past, “picks and shovels” stand to benefit. Infrastructure that unlocks distribution and scales issuance will be in high demand. Stablecoin exchanges and platforms that enable “vampire” yield attacks, where competitor stablecoins are accepted, redeemed and re-issued by a new issuer will be in vogue. So, according to @CBOE, five firms: ✅ @vaneck_us ✅ @InvescoUS ✅ @Fidelity ✅ @21Shares ✅ @FTI_DA will launch a spot $ETH ETF on July 23rd. I expect there to be more.
