The whole point of art was to collect without expectation. Only web3 created this false sense of price pumping from creators. So now creators are left holding the bag of selling everything for a few bucks. Which is why creators are leaving web3, not joining.

and if you are purely talking about music...making a few bucks vs close to zero on web2 music streams. I hear you 100%

"Free" mints have basically normalized at 0.000777 ETH across every major platofrm - the majority of which is going to the creator.

Collecting something for a few bucks with no expectation of anything in return actually feels pretty good to me
