Thanks E! Fun fact they are not tilted. I just tried to map the x position to a certain noise mapping function and the Y to another. 

Before, both x and y pos used the same mapping function.

I think it helps add a bit more chaos and flowiness.

I also made the noise detail dynamic and mapped to a sine function.

So fascinating! The negative space is really working well here, esp. in the one to the right. The decision to tilt them 45 degrees is also great.
