Absolutely a great idea. My wife signed up a few days ago, looked at the list of users she was auto-following and said "it's all dudes". I think seeding follows in a smarter way (either dynamically as above or maybe via channel or topic affinity) would be great.

Yeah it's honestly a terrible introduction to a social network I get if there's pressures from investors/early adopters/notable figures but it seems longterm -EV to WC This form of "reward" to early users feels almost entirely at odds with the FC vibe once you get to know it.
