What's the best way to "build in public" when you start working on something new?

Somewhat related, I’d love it if I could tell website/blog visitors/users to *subscribe* to our launchcaster page as a sort of updates changelog.

Idk if they should receive updates as emails, xmtp, mentions or all 3 but that would be nice.
