Google Maps satellite > Alltrails 

I’ve found so many unmarked and undocumented trails this way. I found this one yesterday with beautiful views of the valley and the Colorado River.

Love to use it for photography as well. Hardly ever search for places through IG for example.

I use maps also. The only issue is when there is heavy tree cover when using the satellite view to find unmarked trails. I also use GAIA GPS and that has been good for parks. 1000 $degen

may be it's for the best: no trash and other "footprints" of humans. just virgin nature
