Working forwards > Working backwards "...we're going to like try to make great models and ship good products and there's no master plan beyond that" "I am a big believer that you can kind of like do the things in front of you but if you like try to work backwards from like kind of we have this crazy complex thing that doesn't usually work as well" "but we pride ourselves on being like nimble and adjusting tactics as the world adjusts" "...and so the products um you know the products that we're going to build next year we're probably not even thinking about right now" "In terms of like the steps in front of us we kind of take those one or two at a time" "I have heard some people talk about these brilliant strategies of how they're this is where they're going to go and they're going to work backwards... I have never seen those people like really massively succeed" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctcMA6chfDY

This mindset resonates a lot. I’ve seen the best momentum come from focusing on what's right in front of you, not chasing some perfect future plan. In fast-moving spaces like AI and crypto, adaptability beats long-term prediction every time.
