A Google Wave-like Farcaster client would be fun https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=84&v=y1qzIEJAFww&embeds_referring_euri=https://www.taskade.com/&source_ve_path=MjM4NTE

It seemed insane at the time, and it was definitely a little half baked... But in retrospect, seeing how all our social media is basically becoming all-in-one solutions like that, it was ahead of it's time.

What about a @fabric crowdfund for a @bountycaster bounty to build it, and some versions or features of the client are accessible via a @hypersub subscription??

I've thought about placing a (substantial) bounty for a Wave-copy reboot. But one needs community and maintenance. Maybe the farcaster context could provide both.

Crucial underappreciated aspect of Wave: arbitrary-depth threading, subthread-collapsible at any level, with unread markers at any depth.

omg holyheck yes please. I'm still mourning Wave. It was by a stunning margin the most productive platform for collaborative creation.

I have no idea what this is, but found an incredibly long tech crunch read on it: https://techcrunch.com/2009/05/28/google-wave-drips-with-ambition-can-it-fulfill-googles-grand-web-vision/ fascinating
