The crypto industry has a trust problem.

We keep calling crypto trustless, but it isn't. Users just choose to trust smart contracts instead of humans. Objectively, the industry's track record isn't great.

Agree, and it’s not only smart contracts. If you hold stablecoins you trust the issuer. If you hold an NFT you trust the company behind it. Everything is built on trust. I think the value is how do we minimize the cost of trust to make markets more efficient and transparent.
