What are you frustrated with re: Farcaster?

I won't argue with you -- will just ask clarifying questions.

My biggest concern has been a Base monoculture. I get the initial cohort of users are all coinbase alum, but we really need become chain-agnostic imo.

Yes, bringing in more solana users, but also other chains. Perhaps collaborating with other chains for hackathons or whatever.

Hmm if I'm incorrect, I believe this is the perception

My main point being that I believe there ought to be a push to become more chain-agnostic in terms of culture. Atm it's base-dominant by far and this pushes people away if they don't main Base.

when $TRUMP launched I checked Farcaster for hours and saw nothing in my feed about it..even after searching saw like no posts...that was a canon moment for me - like the LinkedIn meme where its like "can't wait til they find out about it in a week!"

even outside of crypto, canon events happen on X. when sama was ousted from OpenAI, it felt like the town hall was on X and in the Tartine in the Mission, with him tweeting cryptic shit about his next move, and it made the feed addicting

Farcaster needs a moment like that where we all log in to see what people are saying. or maybe that is not the goal, maybe I log on here to find local tips for my city and post cool beers I drank and play with cool mini apps. IDK!

Yeah there are a few big moments like this. And if it's mentioned here, you're usually attacked for mentioning anything positive about solana :P
