It’s no surprise that CEXs are keeping DEXs in check. But the truth is, Defi & DEXs aren’t fully decentralized either (as we all know) —they often operate more like unregulated international exchanges. In reality, much of the crypto and Web3 ecosystem isn’t as decentralized as it claims to be. Perhaps, it will never be. As long as human involvement and leadership structures remain, true decentralization on the blockchain is unattainable. But by acknowledging this reality, we can begin to move toward the next chapter imo
