The swole bro crowd is universal but visibility is limited to 1) ones world view 2) access to mass media. 

But I’ve seen guys in India and Ukraine getting absolutely jacked. Aesthetic fitness of all kinds is universal, but Americans have freedom and desire to share interests and monetize it.
