I'm not opposed, but I personally avoid doing so because I want people to focus on the message rather than the delivery.

Some messages are information and need to be precise, like instructions or essays. Other messages are aesthetic and the ambiguity is part of the point, like poetry, abstract art, and music. Some messages lose their meaning when ambiguity is removed, and the message is made more precise
