Why does crypto not have more consumer apps? Because it currently does not solve many problems for consumers. Crypto has strong consumer product-market fit with speculative use cases. This is because it’s a) potential to make money quickly b) entertainment. The way to grow the number of consumers in crypto is increase the amount of entertainment in crypto apps. Consumers have unlimited demand for novel entertainment.

what if crypto doesn't need to solve problems for consumers what if it just needs to be best-in-class infra for developers i don't even think developers think of blockchains as part of their toolkit, as most of the infra/SDKs are vaporware, constantly changing, shut down, etc. sigh
