Lately I’ve been wanting to formally learn, Tamil, my mother tongue.

Anyone have any tips for learning a second language as an adult?

I have been attending classes with “Learning Tamil” foundation. Helps having a teacher. I had no prior exposure to the language. 

Otherwise, the book “Colloquial Tamil” is helpful, but doesn’t teach reading. I needed the structure of a course.
