After that, sprint for 1 minute at a pace you can't maintain for long. Follow this with a 2-minute brisk walk or slow jog to recover. Repeat this cycle 6-8 times. Cool down with another 10-minute jog to bring your heart rate back to normal. Interval training boosts speed and endurance, making those long distances feel a bit easier.
