With the tariffs there has been a lot of halting of agricultural exports. I hope it results in an increase in supply of food in the US & a concomitant price decrease. Will help with deflation.

I’m seeing that locally on products like strawberries. $2-4 / lbs. is pretty cheap for this point in the season

~90% of the supply (1.8 billion pounds a year) are grown in California. They’re basically produced year round with a short slow down in the summer.
