I think he's raised the hatred. But it is a larger problem. IMO it's the combination of politics and advertising dollars.

I can't imagine what it would be like to survive an assassination attempt, let alone two. We need to do a better job protecting him. Also, the damage it would do to the country if he was assassinated.

Ya, they did their job. I still think he needs more protection as it seems like this might be the norm for a while.
