They were doing a lookback feature at Covid on the local news and they mentioned the first cases here were 5 years ago which I didn't even realize. It had such a big impact on everything that it still feels so much more recent in my brain than half a decade ago. I still have some of the chickens I panic bought in early Covid despite knowing absolutely nothing about raising chickens.
