if Trump loses, i think on the margin it will have been because of JD Vance

you cannot convince me there is one person in America who is voting for Trump *because* of Vance

and there are many on the other side now hyper-mobilized because of Vance's comments on women

If Trump loses, it's because he agreed to a June debate instead of waiting until September after the conventions.

100%. The debate gave the Dems an out. Trump let them hedge. Will go down as one of the worst political blunders.

And thank god (or Mother Nature) that Biden handed the baton over with dignity - something trump couldn’t ever possibly comprehend - otherwise we would be facing a steep battle against going backwards, and now we have some joy and excitement to energize those of us who care very deeply for the well being of everyone in this country, which is something the majority of MAGA republicans blatantly do not care about. 

I always had hope Biden would step down. The conversations had been happening, but Biden was ultimately the one who had to do it, and considering he had a very successful presidency, I can understand how that was difficult for him to do. I agree that his mental state was steadily declining, but trumps panic to me only signals his frustration at having to come up with new bully tactics to cover the fact that his policy plans are insane and supported by the tiniest minorities of America 

Since the Cold War ended, America has flourished under democrats and slipped backwards with republicans.
