Big problem is they let a bunch of marketing gobblygoop into their technical docs. Took me forever to actually wrap my head around it

yes, this is much easier to follow. The previous docs hardly seemed to focus on the real goal which I believe is lowering the barrier to IP licensing. If you want to put it into blockchain dev terms, maybe it could be called "Optimistic IP Licensing" or similar
