True story… in Albuquerque, McD’s doesn’t ask if you want fries with your burger. They ask if you want green chile on it. 🤙🏼

It was nice to get a green chile fix, during chile season, when I was back in New Mexico a few weeks ago. I didn’t get McDonald’s… oh wait, I did. I grabbed it in Alamogordo to get some food in my system before hiking in White Sands, since all the places recommended to me to stop by on the drive down were closed on Sundays. I did not, however, get green chile on the McDonald’s burger.

My McDonald’s eating is limited to eating while driving at this point… when I don’t want to take time to stop and eat (which I would have done if any of the recommended places had been open), so just grab and go. That’s what it’s good for from my perspective but I also have an iron stomach… I’ve gotten food poisoning maybe two or three times in my life, but otherwise nothing really bothers me.
