We need a movement for offline spaces, just like walkable cities.

Faraday cage environments where phones and laptops simply don’t work. 

Libraries with pencil and paper and no distractions.

Laptops without WiFi chips, so you can type offline and then sync back manually via USB or Ethernet when you want.

Restaurants with phone lockers at the front, where everyone must check in devices beforehand.

my phone makes me feel gross

i got a light phone i am waiting on and want to open a vinyl record bar in bk where people can’t use their devices

is it like a normal dj setup or more like a jukebox?

In a similar spot - have switched off streaming services as well and deleted many phone apps, back to self hosting music files (via plex) and vinyl 

Next up is a camera (Fuji x100 waiting list 😅)
