gf is moving to Warsaw this year! She’s Spanish so is worried about depressing weather, and has lived in London for years so is afraid of getting bored… any comforting words of what it’s actually like living there? Seen some good things in media recently but have never been

as every city, it’s great if you find your people fast, kinda sucks if you are alone it’s definitely safe, clean and you have a ton of opportunities to meet new people at bars, doing sports or attending classes weather is great in summer and terrible in winter people work harder and are less chill then in spain

She will quickly find a Spanish or English community. Warsaw has a better weather than London, so she will be good there. I think the most important thing at the beginning is to find a comfortable lodging. She should look for modern apartments in or around the center with good transport connections.

Warsaw is a cool place. It's also good to jump to other cities like Cracow or Gdańsk, Poznań for city break.
