After a full day of gardening, time to kick back and relax. Tomorrow’s another full day. Trying to get all the major work done by the end of June. Damm that’s tomorrow.

If you dig a hole and make some extra charcoal, it is great for gardens and sequesters about 1LB of CO2 per liter used in no till areas. Mixing it with compost or manure, it becomes biochar. There are lots of studies on biochar you can check out. I can also tell you stuff i plant with it does well.

Actually, I have been reading up on biochar. The area I live is very heavy clay soils. I scoop up the what’s left and add it to the clay. Helps to break it up a bit. Thanks 2 $DEGEN
