Thanks for including me in your efforts to help people and the planet. I did not do much work outside today but will be sharing work here from now on. I do a lot of gardening and work on public lots frequently. I am going to be building community gardens on public lands. The first photo is where the next mushroom bed will be laid. The second is where i removed invasive vines and spread out 900 gallons of winecap mushroom spawn made from diverted waste wood. I hope to add a thin layer of compost and also grow turnips there this fall. Both locations are at the Meadville Water Authorities public access land.

Started carving a mushroom statue from this old waste wood log. Outside was rotting, but inside is solid. This is the first time I have used hammer and chisel to carve anything, and it's going well so far.

I spread out 40 gallons of cherry sawdust to feed the mushroom bed. I will hopefully top with a thin layer of compost and plant some turnips this August.

The Carbon Counting Coin has 50% of its supply in permanently locked liquidity. The blue bit is owned by the community and is mostly me, but not 100% thanks everyone for your support. More coins will be minted and paid for carbon sequestration, and the people receiving them have this ever growing fund to cash out of.

Processing waste wood into lumber, firewood, and sawdust. Lumber will be stacked and dried for up to two years, fire wood will be used to make biochar and keep me warm this winter. The sawdust will be used to make more mushroom spawn. Took a break for lunch and will get back at it in a few hours when it starts to cool down outside. I was able to get this cherry tree as waste wood because it had rotten sections, but there is lots of good useful material here.
