The coffee you get at a petrol station in New Zealand is better than 95% of coffees I've had in SF bay area. Let that sink in.

The standard here is so high I have to consciously lower my coffee expectations while travelling anywhere (tho Aus does pretty well). In reality I sit there on google maps for half an hour each day painstakingly checking reviews 🥲 If you haven’t already, you gotta try Anastasis/Coffee To Wake The Dead - some of the best to ever do it.
