It's a bonding curve system. When a person buys DEPE, the curve minting DEPE to the buyer. When a person sell DEPE, the curve burns DEPE taken from the seller. Thus, the current supply keeps increasing/decreasing based on the DEPE demands. This is how the liquidity runs automatically thru the bonding curve.

Bonding curve is also a DEX. Just not AMM based. AMM needs a manual LPs. Bonding curve doesn't. There are pros/cons between the two different way of making liquidity. Personally for the meme coin I prefer bonding curve than AMM.
