I’m disappointed by the ratio of shows to movies I’ve watched over the last 5 years. Since around covid there have just been so many quality shows imo and so few quality movies. You can fire up an older flick and find gems but I’ve seen so many of the great ones already, including the underrated great ones.

There’s nothing like getting situated and locking in for a movie you know has potential to be truly great. The comparable high for a show feels more like the satisfaction of a craving. Even for the highest quality shows that quality is spread over a longer duration. Every moment matters in movies. It’s big leagues.
