a lot of people are that social every weekend, or most weekends

i've thought about it as basically there are some people who use their weekends to recover (from working hard during the week) and others who use their weeks to recover (from socializing / drinking / partying during the weekend)

most people have at least experienced both so realistically most people are not one or the other as much as they are one of those x% of weeks and the other y% of weeks

anyway, hard to do great work if you're constantly recovering during the weeks, and hard to have a strong social life if you're constantly recovering during the weekends (and of course some continue to work almost as much on the weekends and other continue to socialize almost as much on the weeknights)

as many things in life, it’s all about balance
