He also writes a blog called Blog of Jake and hosts a podcast called Pod of Jake with guests like @vitalik.eth, Mark Cuban, and @barmstrong. Jake previously served as chief of staff and fund manager for @balajis.eth and began his career in technology investment banking.

One thing is that people tend to be much more reasonable and well-intentioned than most assume. Social media / traditional media do a terrible job of representing people accurately. Medium / long-form audio is a much better way to get to know someone. It's hard but I try not to judge a person by their Twitter anymore.
