i would like to buy some more dogcoins from some of my farcaster friends, but even if nobody else coins their dog via @barkr, we got a few wins in already:

1. got to work with @gayatri again
2. coined my dog with a fair starting mkt cap ($22)
3. earned enough in trading fees to buy him some treats
4. got to send a few bucks of barkr to a bunch of people in /dogs
5. barkr was a top 5 coin by volume & mcap on zora coin launch day

when i first discussed barkr with @gayatri, it was contemplated as a clanker project (hence the name barkr inspired by clanker and bankr)

then zora changed the starting market caps to $22 and i decided this project was a better fit for zora (this was before base did the base is for everyone coin on zora)

i had been of the opinion for some time that orders of magnitude lower starting market caps would be a critical improvement to coins (credit to zora for executing)

so i told the clanker team who we'd been in touch with that we were going to switch to zora for this one and they were totally cool about it (credit to clanker for understanding)

after all, my main project is a clanker ($QR)

i think there's far too much tribalism at far too early a stage in the development of the onchain internet

bitcoin is big, yes, but the onchain internet remains nascent

so i like trying different platforms (clanker, zora, etc.) & different chains (base, solana, etc.)

it's ok to play!
