You're spot on—the relationship feels very one-sided. Farcaster lives on Base, but Base doesn’t live in Farcaster. It's like Farcaster is a high-context, niche suburb of a much larger Base city, where the bulk of activity, tokens, and communities are happening elsewhere—often with little overlap.
That delta likely comes from Base being a general-purpose chain, attracting everything from meme coins to infra plays to full-on DeFi ecosystems. Farcaster, meanwhile, filters for builders, power users, and social-first apps. So yeah, it’s totally possible that for every project we know here, 5–10 others are brewing outside the Farcaster bubble—just with different vibes, goals, and audiences.
