every few months i re-up my perspective on farcaster as a network state it's remained largely unchanged for 2+ years, when back then Farcaster was much much smaller than it is today, but the same points remain true https://warpcast.com/jake/0x4e94dc66

Hey fren, I hadn’t seen your earlier posts but thanks for bringing this to the forefront! When people can start crowdfunding accommodations for larger or longer-term pop-up events on Farcaster, that’ll be a huge prerequisite reached.

How close to the online first, then physical space do you think we are if there were a thing? Based on the current users, I imagine the first property wouldn’t need to be nearly as large as people may think

I think you‘re absolutely onto something. I personally believe not running frequent irl meetups anymore is a big loss for crypto - as it created Communities despite not having any products to show for back in 2017/18 etc. Now, farcaster would be a Perfect product to combine onchain + irl communities (also small ones, bot every community needs to be 10k+) which would also make it stick out from all the other social medias that have become impersonal scrolling machines vs the humble beginnings of connecting real people, growing their interactivity & network.
