Huge shoutout to everyone that came to the Midnight Diner last night. We got 100 people to create a wallet and collect a POAP for the first time. Turns out if you tell them they need a wallet to get free drinks it actually has a very high conversion rate!! Big ups to @coinbase Smart Wallet for making it extremely easy to register with passkey + Face ID - seriously made all the difference. Tomorrow we airdrop all the POAP and Midnight Diner Pass holders an edition of @33below headline set. See you on August 7th for the next one!!

A free drink is enough to overcome a lot of friction, but I do think cbsw is an order of magnitude improvement on previous wallets that can make all the difference in onboarding onchain this cycle. That's why we default to it for /basecolors new user flow. Nice ratio at the Diner. Don't see that in crypto everyday.

Thank you mate and I completely agree. I was live commentated on people going through it asking for their feedback and most people were really surprised at how easy it was. @aneri worth calling out the highest point of friction was people not knowing where to click to copy their address in the UI to paste and get the POAP after. They also were confused on how they would get back into the wallet after - they were expecting to have an app downloaded but overall very very positive reactions! 1000 $DEGEN
