Crypto builders tend to be first principles thinkers because what they are building often started from thinking more fundamentally about the systems that serve as the foundation for the way the world works.

I'd argue this is why a lot of crypto projects have not wasted money on premium .com domain names because from first principles they realized that actually the TLD might not make much of a difference. 

Examples include opensea.io, pump.fun, zora.co, ens.domains, base.org, farcaster.xyz, nouns.wtf, just to name a few all with different TLDs.

I love buying high quality inexpensive domains. Not to squat on. Just the opposite actually. I like to take advantage of the first year discount deal on GoDaddy and if the experiment succeeds I can renew and if not I'll let it expire. No squatting. Just experimenting.
