14/ How to Money: Last tip is that in 2024, you really don’t need to use cash that much anymore in a lot of places. In my two most recent trips to Japan and New Zealand, I didn’t even take cash out once. You can pretty much get away with Apple Pay & credit cards. 

If - BIG IF - you can pay off your credit card on a regular basis and not carry a balance, you should absolutely be using cc’s 99% of the time over cash or debit. It’s the only reason I’ve been able to travel so much for free. More Points = More Adventures!
