"Why do you keep telling people what to do?" "Stop being a hall monitor!" "People aren't going to change." Sure, but better to be clear upfront when we start tweak the spam labeling algorithms. re: hall monitor — yes, I am. Quality is what drives growth, that requires rules and taste. If you don't like those rules / taste, use or build another client. Beauty of a decentralized system. And to be clear: if you're just casting in your own timeline or channels, algo won't care about it. It's when you start taxing other people's attention (and potentially making the experience worse for others), that you might get labeled.

So when it comes to art and content that is more visual what are your suggestions to all of us to bring our A game and have that quality or does the algo put a different weight on it?

Just cast in your timeline, reply to people who follow you or in channels focused on art most of the time and you should be fine. Randomly replying to accounts that don't follow you with art (if the cast isn't asking for art) is not a good strategy?
