RIP adorable but terribly made sun umbrella. I bought you because you were cute and a new item at the Okinawa Aquarium.  You were made cheaply with cheap materials and a gust of wind was your destruction. It wasn’t even that strong and you still broke. This is on us both. I never should have bought you. 

I will use your broken self to hide from the sun until Monday and then you’ve got a date with a pair of scissors to see if I can up cycle you. But you may be buried in japan.

Almost 8 weeks but still an umbrella should last a year

I busted a parasol too. Was sad the top somehow just broke

This one was just cheaply made in China and I should’ve known better

Sadly mine from the ren fair was probably too 🥶

I couldn’t open it because of the packaging and there wasn’t one on display. If I’d known it was an aluminum frame I probably would have passed on it. I normally carry electrical tape for mishaps and could probably have gotten another week out of it, but I literally shipped my suitcase to the airport and put the tape in there! And it broke an hour after.
