I’m relieved to be done with Moxie. It’s liberating to interact with people again, without the looming presence of financial incentives. Also, receiving money from people is emotionally difficult for me. If you’re from a similar socioeconomic background, you probably understand what I mean. Although I truly appreciate the money that was gifted to me, it’s not what I initially came here for. I’m really happy to be back having genuine interactions with people, no strings attached.

Some of these engagements for gaining what they call milk is sick and sad. Who wants to debase themselves speaking of pimp language. It is great when it offset free mints and I would love to get that incentive again. Yes, agreed! I personally could never launch a fan token, or purchase an individual person’s fan token. It makes me really uncomfortable, like I’m objectifying people. I have no problem with other people participating or launching their own fan tokens. That is totally a great thing, as long as it’s something THEY choose to do. But I did not like seeing fan tokens launched for people without their consent. I’m grateful I was not one of those bigger accounts. It absolutely would have driven me away from this network immediately. I was also quite hurt by the DC regarding the lifetime max. It implied I was taking without giving. When it’s really the opposite: I don’t want to take, and I don’t want to be financially objectified. The idea of having a fan token is a really scary thought for me, personally. Again, all of this is just my personal preference. And if other people want to participate, I’m sincerely happy for them! I’m just glad to be able to opt out now. 💜
