they have come down to realise the value of "speed", and speed took them to figure the potential of ai — makes sense for them to not miss out on "speed × ai" factor to maximize the browsing experience before someone else takes a leaf out of the playbook

It’s better than skiff selling out and now notion having email. Arc will do well with v2 im just having issues with it on my machine

Tough decision but I respect it. Easier to build from scratch vs trying to maintain needs of potentially two different user bases

Reasonable decision. They don’t want to charge for Arc, and it’s not growing beyond power users. To have a shot at venture returns, they have to find something else.
