Whether I’m playing the saxophone, piano, or bass, every performance is an opportunity to explore new sounds, experiment with phrasing, and create something fresh and exciting in the moment. Jazz allows me to connect with other musicians in ways that feel almost telepathic, each of us responding to the others, building on ideas and taking the music to unexpected places.

What draws me most to jazz is its fluidity. Unlike many other genres, jazz allows for complete creative freedom in each performance. The same tune can sound different every time, depending on how it’s played, the energy of the band, and the interaction with the audience. It’s about finding that perfect moment of synchronicity with fellow musicians and letting the music take on a life of its own. Each riff, each solo, and each syncopated beat is an opportunity to tell a story, express a feeling, and share a piece of my soul through sound.
