Great argument for why it would be better as Base. Much clearer distinction between the main Coinbase app then.

Society if Warpcast was called Farcaster and Coinbase Wallet was called Base

Agree with this. All of the go to market and messaging work that Base is doing is so much stronger if their main CTA can be “Download Base in the App Store to go onchain”. The more users Base brings onchain the better it is for all developers. It’s the exact same reasoning as why Warpcast should be Farcaster

I’d imagine ChatGPT could connect you to kindred spirits better than anything else now Similarly people from completely different worlds that you’d get along with on some deeper level

Probably because of the 5 minute breaks that you need to take every 20 minutes to prevent oxygen toxicity. Maybe there’s a version of the chamber required that can automatically pause and flush new air (quietly and reliably) to unlock a sleeping version.

watching a bunch of content traders on @zora repeatedly turn $0.10 in to $1 by finding cool content and buying it early is really a sight to behold new market dynamic emerging that looks very different than past coin markets and may actually let the small players win big

the curve is steeper. so you incur more slippage in the earlier stages of the market.

the starting MC on @zora coins is now $22 opens up the possibility of 100x more 100xs that's based

yes. and i am extremely curious to see 1. what that dynamic actually is in a more efficient market 2. what content is actually valued in that market 3. what the downstream effects are of that dynamic and market

Because the NFT model ultimately is much worse at capturing value for both creators and buyers in most circumstances (unless you are a top 0.01% creator who can sell 1/1s) We tried to make it work for 5 years but ultimately coins are superior. It's most obvious in the secondary market. NFTs are very hard to buy and sell. But with coins, anyone on the internet can buy any amount at any time: this is just a way better experience for people who are looking to collect something.

Probably X > Y because a 1000x alone is likely going to get net more attention (holders, distribution, liquidity) than Y would otherwise. I don't know how much more but definitely more.

because very few pieces of content are worth that much money, so if you start that high you will have very bad price discovery on basically everything
