Building /bright-moments - minting onchain art IRL | /purple #15 | FID 129 #magikarp

it's only been 9 weeks (feels like 9 months though)
tldr happy with it

the goals:
improve collector experience by letting people easily buy and sell after mint.
improve creator experience by enabling onchain royalties on secondary.

we're measuring success by the increase secondary activity. It's definitely had a massive impact on that front. I'll pull the exact figures but easily over >100x the amount of secondary activity. 

it's hard to say precisely, but the sense is that this has marginally increased minting demand, although it's noisy because we lowered the fee at the same time. Creators are now earning royalties again which is huge. 

It's awesome to see experiences like artrun.io emerge on the protocol, providing a more trader focused experience.

Here are some thoughts I shared on the most recent upgrade:

Interesting that it's had that effect on secondary, I didn't know that. Tbh I haven't used Zora since the change. It seemed terrible for artists. Maybe I should take another look.

fwiw slowly seeing more folks mint multiple. as we see more secondary markets it will click, but def can bridge the gap with ux. my advice: show #s. Mints, trades, and secondary revenue, especially on collection pages, provide valuable context. bring collections back to the app. context goes a long way for both parties
