okay tho wiz stopped working on bound (sad) we still need something like it to get the nouns minting economy properly going. it essentially provides a clear permissionless “introduction rule” for anyone to create a nouns-tied mint. droposals will always be used but that’s for the big stuff.

now that zora has splits, can we use that for this purpose? the clear set of nouns-tied mints allows us to easily build mint discovery apps (imagine a farcaster client optimized for this), run retro prize pools for the most minted nfts, etc we just need an shared onchain primitive to all build towards together

is it possible to query with onchain data for all zora mints that split more than a certain percentage of their mint revenue (eg 20%) to nouns treasury?

I think the limitation is you can’t create a split that applies to all assets in a collection. You can create a shared collection but each artist in it gets to define their own split. Unless I’m wrong? Also would be nice to have a more flexible way to add artists to a shared collection

Glad to see you Jacob- I came to this thread to say that I’m not sure an entire new app is needed? Could Zora implement a “tagging” feature (maybe Nouns could alpha test) where tagging a mint “nouns” both automatically creates a 10% split with nouns and adds it to a Nouns feed at zora.co/ nouns or something?
