A world that trends towards having prediction markets for everything lowers the barrier to entry for investing. Instead of having an idea or POV and then needing to find creative ways ways to get exposure to it, you may be able to just explicitly bet on that one thing.

do you view the financialization of everything as a net positive?

"financialization" seems to be a pretty loaded term. But I'd say yes, it'd be net positive. Markets tend to be pretty good at society-wide coordination and decision making over the long term.

One way to make that concrete in the prediction market example: with enough prediction markets society might be much better at seeing / planning for the future than without them.
