A world that trends towards having prediction markets for everything lowers the barrier to entry for investing.

Instead of having an idea or POV and then needing to find creative ways ways to get exposure to it, you may be able to just explicitly bet on that one thing.

It opens up a broad investment portfolio. Besides, prediction markets can sometimes be like a game of 'telephone,' where information gets twisted or manipulated along the way.

"financialization" seems to be a pretty loaded term. 

But I'd say yes, it'd be net positive. Markets tend to be pretty good at society-wide coordination and decision making over the long term.
