This broke my brain, both are right. To bold, this is statement is completely obvious and has already happened within a small pocket of the internet already. From Chris' perspective, it is only just now obvious, and to the rest of the internet (a lot of his audience)it actually has not happened yet.

This is a fun example of "the future is already here, it's just not evenly distributed". Two takeaways: 1. Chris is right to frame it like this. Saying the obvious is good because to most people it is not obvious 2. @boldleonidas you're early. the fact it doesn't feel like a prediction is a strong signal.

Basically the thesis for repeating things that are obvious to you - they might not get obvious to others, and thus are valuable to repeat

It’s a common issue that we assume that everyone else has the same knowledge that we do. In reality those who have been here every day since 2021 have likely hit 10000 hours, they have likely achieved mastery.

That perspective shift is wild. Sometimes it really depends on where you're standing to see how obvious or new something seems

there’s always a third perspective, “the one who doesn’t care and just scrolls past” but i’m honestly glad i find myself in “bold’s” perspective of this, means i’m early.
