I mean sentiment is low because L2 adoption hasn't been very impressive at all?

Solana is doing more transaction than 3x all L2s combined.

L2s aren't even processing enough transactions to create a fee market for blob space.

Profitablity has plummetted.

Fundamentals are actually very grim
